By investing in research, your realm is able to function with increased efficiency without having to invest in additional workers to obtain similar results. Currently there are five areas of research which can further improve your realm.

Military Maintenance

By producing better quality weapons, your military requires less wages for upkeep
Magic Proficiency

With further study into the sorcery arts, your mages are better able to develop their skills and train others their secrets
Stealth Proficiency

By further learning the stealth arts, your blackguards are able to practice their skills and entice others to join their cause




An increased research maximum does not mean you need to put more research points into this to be more effective. It requires the same amount of research points regardless, just that the research points that are put into this are more effective. (ie if you had a category of max 25%. If this then changes to max 75%, all research points in this category would then be in essence 3 times as effective)
